I grew up in a home where my mother did her best to provide for me and my brothers. She showed me Jesus every day of my life. I knew about God, but looking back, I realize I didn’t truly know Him deeply. Then, during my twenties, everything changed. An unexpected crisis shook my faith to its core, leaving me feeling lost, disconnected, and unsure of what I truly believed.

The life I had planned for myself crumbled. The relationships I had built over the years began to fall apart. For the first time, I felt completely alone.

Eight years , I ran from God trying to find and search for anything that would anchor me. I became very distant from God, and my family. While I never wanted to admit to defeat, I found myself in a place where all i could is SURRENDER my will and my life back over to God. I had an awakening, but I had yet to have the experience I longed for. I tried reading my Bible more and praying harder, believing that if I just did more, things would change. And while those practices were good, something still felt missing. I had plenty of head knowledge about God, but it wasn’t sinking into my heart. I longed for something deeper—a real, intimate relationship with Him, not just a routine of religious habits.

It wasn’t until I learned how to truly abide in Christ that everything began to shift. By having a coach myself, and learning about Freedom in Christ, there was ways to experience God's presence, hear His voice, and walk daily in His love. As I leaned into abiding rather than striving, God began to heal past wounds, renew my perspective, and draw me into a genuine friendship with Him.

And things have never been the same.

I’m not perfect, and there are still days when I feel distracted or distant. But now, I know how to return to God’s presence—not through effort, but through abiding in His love. I no longer feel at the mercy of life’s uncertainties. Instead, I walk confidently in the freedom and joy that comes from deep intimacy with Him.
